Space Availability - Wade Park Community Engagement Center

Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) welcomes organizations (both CWRU and non-CWRU affiliated) to request the use of spaces at the Wade Park Community Engagement Center for collaborative and/or instructional purposes. Please refer to this document about booking requirements & terms.

The Wade Park CEC, located at 11310 Wade Park Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106, has three main meeting spaces and two auxiliary spaces that may be reserved at NO COST.

Meeting spaces on the first floor will be tentatively available on weekdays from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Any requests outside of these times will be considered on an individual basis. Note: We are unable to accommodate events on days when the university is closed for holidays or other unforeseen reasons (e.g. weather events). The MAXIMUM CAPACITY allowed by law inside the building is 71 people, so please be aware of this when planning. Terms and a reservation structure for outdoor space reservations have not yet been determined, but you are welcome to reach out to our office regarding any suggestions or ideas for an outdoor event on the grounds.

  • Community Room (max. capacity 70 for reception, 55 for presentation, & 30 for conference setups) is a flexible space that includes a projector and screen, dynamic sound, movable furniture, and lots of natural light.
  • Meeting Room 1 (max. capacity 12) is for intimate gatherings, planning meetings, or group work space. This room is equipped with an integrated computer/smartTV monitor and teleconferencing capabilities.
  • Meeting Room 2 (max. capacity 5) is intended for remote conferencing or small meetings. This meeting room is perfect for tutoring sessions, confidential telehealth access, or remote interviews. This room is equipped with an integrated computer/smartTV monitor and teleconferencing capabilities.
  • Add-On Spaces: There is an adjoining Greeting Room that can be used to accommodate overflow or be used as a setup for meals or a check-in location. There is also a Kitchen with a full-sized refigerator, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and basic/limited utensils.

We ask that requests are made at least one week prior to the requested reservation time to ensure we are properly staffed and our campus partners are notified. You will receive an automated email at the time of your booking acknowledging the receipt of your request. An emailed confirmation should be expected within 2 business days. Be sure to check spam folders. If you have not received a confirmation after that time, please contact our office at (216) 368-1723 or at communityrelations@case.edu. 

*PLEASE REMEMBER: Your requested booking date and time is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ! DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE BOOKING GRID:

  1. Choose the space (or spaces) you wish to book by scrolling to and clicking on your starting date & time (there is a 30 min. buffer on each side). You may find out more information about the space by clicking the blue "info" box to the left of the space name.

  2. A dropdown menu will appear BELOW the grid with the start date & time you chose. Use it to select the range of time for your booking.

  3. Be sure to include all meeting rooms and/or add-on spaces you wish to reserve for this date & time.

  4. Click the blue "Submit Times" button below the dropdown, and you will be taken to the booking form.
